Dream where I was in this big castle and I was an occult practitioner in the dream and I was working with my assistant on some sort of ritual that implied drinking a specific potion and it was very much needed because some sort of a curse was placed and once I drank the potion and I was within the protective circle everything started spinning and I could see all of the Goetic entities waiting for me outside of it as I kept spinning and then eventually it stopped on Astaroth but she had kind of morphed her face into Crowley's face and she had a camera in her hand and was apparently recording everything, and my assistant turned into Haures while everything was spinning but when all of that happened they were all frozen in place and no one was moving but me and then when the spinning stopped I saw myself from another perspective and I was laying on my back within the circle and through my eyes and mouth and nose what looked like souls of people were coming out at a very fast pace and then some inscriptions started showing up on the walls all around me, words and drawings and sigils and once the souls stopped coming out of me I just woke up in panic in the dream and then instantly woke up in panic in real life and was hyper ventilating and had a hard time breathing irl and coughed a lot And during this whole time the song "This Place Is Empty" by Virginia Aveline was playing within the dream, the dream had no sound besides the song
Your dream is a profound tapestry woven with elements of the subconscious, fascinating archetypes, and symbolic representations of your inner life.
The castle in your dream symbolizes a realm of your inner psyche—specifically, a place of power, protection, and deep introspection. Castles often represent personal fortresses where significant aspects of oneself or personal history are stored. In your case, it could signify a stronghold of your spiritual beliefs or practices, especially in the occult realm.
Your identity as an occult practitioner may reflect a desire for deeper knowledge, exploration of the unknown, or perhaps a quest for personal transformation. It may indicate that you are seeking to uncover hidden aspects of yourself or engage with your spirituality in a serious manner. This role suggests a readiness to confront your fears, face the shadows of your psyche, and work towards empowerment, even if it feels daunting.
The ritual you were performing points towards the need for healing or breaking free from something that feels binding or harmful (the curse). The potion you are drinking could symbolize inner transformation or a crucial change needed in your life. Drinking appears to represent an acceptance of this ordeal—a gesture of embracing the experiences and agonies that life presents.
The spinning experience may represent disorientation or being caught in a tumult of emotions and thoughts. The Goetic entities symbolize various aspects of your subconscious, which might represent different traits or conflicts within you. Astaroth morphing into Crowley speaks to the merging of different influences or energies in your life, possibly suggesting you are grappling with ideas of knowledge, power, and ethics in the realm of your beliefs or practices. The camera can symbolize a desire to capture or understand your process and the witness within those experiences.
Seeing yourself from another perspective can indicate a moment of self-awareness or an existential reflection of your life situations—the act of stepping outside oneself to observe your emotional and psychological state. The souls emerging from you denote a powerful release, which could represent grief, unresolved issues, or emotions that have been pent up within. It’s a significant sign that you are processing past experiences or ancestral pain, possibly indicating a need for deeper emotional release and understanding.
The inscriptions appearing on the walls—words, drawings, sigils—may symbolize the messages your subconscious is attempting to communicate in order to guide you through your journey. They can reflect the wisdom you are gathering from your experiences, suggesting that you are at a transformative state of creating new narratives or finding clarity.
Waking up in panic can indicate how intense and emotionally charged your dream was. Hyperventilating and difficulty breathing may show the depth of anxiety you may be experiencing in your waking life, highlighting fears or stresses that need your attention. Your body’s reaction signifies that this dream was not merely an exploration of thoughts but a reflection of deeper emotions needing acknowledgment and integration.
The song playing throughout your dream enhances the emotional undertone of your experience. Music can evoke profound feelings, and in this case, it suggests an atmosphere of longing or melancholy—perhaps reflecting your current state of feeling unfulfilled or isolated amidst your journey.
Overall, this dream is a profound exploration of your internal landscape, highlighting themes of transformation, self-discovery, and the processing of emotional pain or existential fears. It serves as an invitation to delve deeper into your spiritual practices or self-exploration, while also signaling a necessity to confront and release pent-up emotions to achieve balance and healing. Reflecting on these experiences and possibly journaling your insights can be beneficial moving forward. Take time to consider how the elements of this vivid dream resonate with your life experiences, current emotions, and spiritual journey.
